Fred J. Ravens III D.D.S.

Dr. Fred RavensDr. Fred J. Ravens III D.D.S. is a 1978 graduate of Georgetown University School of Dentistry. After dental school, he moved to Reading, MA and opened his practice. Throughout the years, his office has grown and undergone several renovations. He dedicates himself to the highest standards in dentistry and has taken countless hours of continuing education in order to provide his patients with the highest quality dentistry available. Just as important are the relationships that he builds with patients and their families. After 35 years in practice, he looks forward to many more years practicing with his son, Michael, daughter-in-law LaJuana, and youngest son Daniel (a student at Harvard School of Dental Medicine).

 

Michael A. Ravens D.M.D.

Dr. Michael RavensDr. Michael Ravens was born in Reading, MA and grew up in nearby Andover. He earned a B.S. in Biology from Georgetown University in 2002. During his time in college he worked in the field of tissue engineering and has been an author on two papers, including one project pursuing tooth regeneration. He graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2006. While at Tufts, he met and married a fellow student, LaJuana Ravens. Michael was commisioned as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy upon graduation. While stationed with 3d Dental Battalion in Okinawa, JP LaJuana and Michael graduated from an AEGD program (Advanced Education in General Dentistry) that greatly enhanced their skills and knowledge as general dentists.  They completed their naval service in Newport, Rhode Island.

 

LaJuana C. Ravens D.M.D.

Dr. LaJuana Ravens 3Dr. LaJuana Ravens was born in New Orleans, Lousiana. She attended Our Lady of the Lake University where she earned a degree in physical therapy. While working as a physical therapy assistant she earned her Bachelor’s degree at the University of New Orleans. She then enrolled at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.  During her first year she applied for a competitive scholarship program with the United States Navy. After being accepted, she was commissioned an Ensign in the Naval Reserve and upon graduation was promoted to Lieutenant. Michael and LaJuana currently reside in Reading with their two boys, Ted and Owen, and dog, Cody.
